Don’t worry, we’re almost done.

My favorite part about each park at Disney World was that each had a personalized Christmas Tree.
Here was the Animal Kingdom’s, love those ornaments.

The Animal Kingdom is divided up into different “countries,” with sights authentic to each. I loved the feeling that we were suddenly somewhere very exotic! Here is a view of Mt. Everest, which was in actuality an exhilirating roller coaster.

Heather and Liv stop to admire the fish, and I stop to admire them.

The gorilla exhibit was pretty exciting; the twins decided to name the entire family of gorillas. What name did they settle on for the momma gorilla?
“LESLIE.”

We see some bats…funny how you can watch them hang from that one toe for hours. Come to find out, Ryan was not so much fascinated as waiting for them to pee…then capture it on film.

Here is a rough attempt at a photo montage. Ryan is napping so I have yet to be informed of the “why didn’t you just do it the easy way” way. Click below and it will give you a little slide show of the animals we saw, mostly from our African Safari Jeep tour.

There were some stroller races….

Liv has not yet warmed up to, well, anybody who doesn’t live in Texas.

Our third day at the park and we finally bump into Minnie Mouse. Pretty sure I was just as excited to see her as the twins… (It must be the polka dots).
Minnie took a lot of time with us and, just like all the characters, made a big fuss when she found out L & M were twins!

Minnie does a few gestures and then her body guard tells us she wants a picture alone with just Ryan, who doesn’t seem to mind. “He’s taken!” I was yelling as I was snapping this picture.

After a few shows (A Bug’s Life, The Lion King), a few fast-passes on Mt. Everest, some yummy Chinese Food, a brief visit to the Dino Park where we almost lost grandma & the twins, and about 50 requests to buy “the Minnie hats with a pink veil that looks like a waterfall” I’d say we were about spent. We were noticing a growing pattern at the end of our days at Disney: vacationing is exhausting!

That is quite the Christmas tree! Looks like someone had too much fun there (L or M?).
